The PTSA is unbelievable! They are always looking for ways to support staff and students. We love them.

We moved here in 2004 and within days, my boys said they didn't want to move. 'Kids were really nice here' they exclaimed. As a former teacher myself and frequent volunteer and substitute, this school was among my very favorite to be around in all of Lewis County. Tops on my list of compliments would be the very calm 'feel' you get when you move about the building. I would like the band program to have more support and not have to use recess time in order to participate.

Winlock Miller is a wonderful school. The test scores do not reflect the quality of education that children are receiving. The faculty and staff provide a wonderful environment for learning where students feel secure. Students are given a lot of individualized attention. The band program is well supported. The administration is very involved with students and parents.
