I used to be a professional slacker, getting nothing done and generally getting no where in life. I was a super senior, and failing classes still. I decided to go to TEAM and I realized that it's not a school for the losers, stoners, and dropouts like I thought, it's the school for those that need motivation and help. The teachers helped me through the tough classes, like math, explained it very thoroughly, and believed in me. Most teachers don't believe in the students, they expect. This is just a shout out and a thank you to the awesome staff at TEAM. They got my head on straight and now I'm on the road to sucess, instead of the path of despair I was so familiar with. THANK YOU TEAM HIGH!! - a grateful graduate
The teachers are always there for you and help with as much as they can, because of Jim(our main teacher) I am able to graduate early. Without him and TEAM I would still be behind.
I went to TEAM High, and it was spectacular, Small class sizes and very dedicated teachers. working on one class at a time, not only did I graduate with my year, but i graduated 3 months before the traditonal highschool allowed.!! Go TEAM
So far I've been impressed with the academic programs. The teachers are excellent in meeting the needs of the individual student. Availability of music, art, and sports, and other extracurricular activities is ok. But the mainstream highschool doesn't seem to go out of their way to encourage the students from Team High to get involved. Level of parental involvement with the school as a whole isn't too impressive. But the level of involvement with the student is higher than if he/she was in traditional highschool.
