This school is in such a low-income neighborhood, and have limited supplies. Many times we(community) have been asked to help out with school supplies and such for the teachers are paying for thing needed out of their own pockets, to make sure all of the children have what they need.
I graduated high school in the class of 2009, as a junior. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for the staff at garfield I would not be as interested in school and striving for the best. I now have a son, And there's no way anyone can keep him from Garfield.
