We are a failing school :( If i could afford to move to send my child elsewhere i would!!!! Run far away!

I am not a pleased parent. I have three children that go to Midway Elementary and I am upset more than pleased with the way things are done at this school. For starters, I think the staff (not all but some) are not cut out to work with children. My children often complain about some of the teachers that are always 'grouchy' and never smile. Then there is more than an hour of homework sent home by my first grader after he has set in a classroom all day and there is alot of issues that should be dealt with that seem to be overlooked. I know I'm not the only upset parent or grandparent and I would really like to see some changes made to better my childrens environment, safety and education. We need staff at our schools with positive attitudes in order for our children to grow strong!
