Both of my sons go to Ashton. My oldest son has a learning disablity. We came from Cabell county and when my oldest son started school they just pushed him aside. He was in the cabell county school since he was 3yrs old and they really didn't teach him anything. Now that he is at Ashton he has learn so much more. I would tell anyone who is asking if I know a good school for their child to it would be Ashton Elementary

My daughter goes here. As have my 2 sons. Ever since they have went to Ashton, they have had issues. We came from Kanawha co and had no problems there. The teachers dont seem to want to follow doctors instructions for one. The school leadership seems to care only for 'good numbers'. The School is smaller and it seems like each child should get more individual attention. That seems to be lacking quite a bit. With smaller enrolement one would think the education each child is entitled to would be hightened.
