The teachers and faculty are very nice and supportive. I love the small class atmosphere.

Our experience at Heritage Christian School has been wonderful. After having our children in public school, we decided to go with private school for our daughter when she started 5th grade. It was so wonderful that we pulled our son from public school to begin his 2nd grade year. The nurturing environment and Christian teaching is exactly what they needed which reinforces what is taught at home. Thumbs up to HCS, the principal and the wonderful teachers. We are truly blessed at HCS.

As a parent of two boys who attended Heritage Christian School over an 8 year period, I highly recommend this school on all levels: spiritually, academically, and socially. The children learn more than the three R's. They learn about integrity, honesty, Christian character, and community service. Preschool department, elementary, and middle school programs available. After school care available. The students wear a reasonable uniform. Land's End and JC Penney catalog styles. Comprehensive music program: voice, band, strings, theory, plays. Middle school sports varies from year to year according to student interest and coach availability. Only problem is one that probably plagues all private schools, and that is teacher turn over. HCS is attempting to address this issue with increased pay for teachers while also trying to keep tuition low for families. The school has been blessed with the same dedicated, hard-working principal since its founding in 1997.

HCS is a wonderful school. The staff are wonderful Christian examples for our children and the academics are very challenging. This is a great school to send you children for a well-rounded Christian education.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
