This school does not provide good education. Students sent there are all put in special education and my child complains of being bored. They suspend students for anything, and do not provide much time to socialize. Counselors need to teach them how to deal with situations, as respect and dealing with being bullied. Also, how not to be a bully. The principal has no problem getting overly physical with the students. Once there, is nearly impossible to get child back into regular middle school. Guess they have a quota. Parent participation is not encouraged. I called and asked when meetings were and what the times were. No one would give me any information. Once there, is nearly impossible to get child back into regular middle school. Guess they have a quota. I will be going to complain to the Kanawha county board of education this week. Stick the "bad" kids here...and forget about them!
