I have my granddaughter in BCCS. Although the school is not accredited and the teachers are not State certified, the school is academically ahead of the public school in the area. In addition the school teaches compassion, manners and consideration unlike the public schools. The teachers truly care about you child.
The academics at BCCS are outstanding. There are a variety of extracurricular activities that are offered with highly qualified teachers/instructors. There is plenty of opportunities for parental involvement to be a part of your child's daily experience. We are so thankful for BCCS. We thank God everyday that that is where are kids are spending their day. Teachers and Staff that love the Lord and reinforce what the kids are learing at home - That's a number one priorty for us and what we get from Bible Center.
Bible Center is, hands down, (imho) the best elementary school in the Charleston area. Our daughter has gone there since pre-K and was reading happily before she started Kindergarden. Our son transferred there this year and, while we expected trouble adjusting, he was taken in wholeheartedly by the other students and loves it. The teachers are that exceptional mix of intellect, heart-felt caring, and plain old fun. This excellence comes from the top - Mr. Reynolds is a wonderful principal and his assistant, Mrs. Keefer, knows absolutely everything going on. This is a school where the kids learn and are also loved for who they are.
