This school is wonderful! The teachers are very caring and helpful to the kids. You always have a few bad apples but we have been fortunate enough to kot have to deal with any of them...so far! The school could use a good scrubbing but all in all this is a great school!!

I too have already had problems with behavior/ bullying issues in PREKINDERGARTEN! I new something was wrong when my child refused to ride the bus. I finally got the answer that my child and another child were given time outs and reprimanded on the bus and assigned seat to themselves. When I asked the teacher her response was that it is not her job to inform me when MY child is punished unless their three attempts do not work. No this is not a BIG problem, if my child was more mature and acclimated to the school program longer. However, at four years old parents should be notified of ANY situation that arises especially if it involves ANY form of disciplinary actions. I want a school that cares about my child's character as well as their attendance and test performance records! But!......I am the one responsible for his character and life outlook and as a parent, I deserve the right to parent my child. By cutting off the parents to the knowledge of these types of incidences, teachers and principals are widening the hallways for more and future bullying. Thinking VERY strongly about homeschooling.Have you seen GES ratings just compared statewide? Seriously considering homeschool

I had three children attend Glade Elementary and Glade Middle. All three of my children graduated from high school and college. Two of my children were valedictorians at Webster County High School. One of my children has a doctorate in Law. Another child is a teacher. The third is still attending college to get a Master's Degree. Great school!!! Thank you to all the dedicated teachers at Glade Schools. I'm proud to be a teacher at this school.

I attended this school as a child myself, and since then have sent three children to this school. I have spent my childrens entire school career fighting with principals and teacher on one of my children being treated unfairly. Alot of bullying goes on 'untreated' at this school. I have yet to have any resolution to these problems and it has yet to be resovled after 7 years. We're moving to another part of the state, and hopefully somewhere there we'll be able to find a school that is truely concered about your child's well being and the quality of education, not just the sports they play and who their parents are!
