This school covers grades pre-K through 5th unlike what it states above.Since changes in principals/teachers this school is not as good as it once was.I feel the 1st grades teachers are extremely hard on the children,and the principal they have now doesnt seem to listen to your concerns, is only interested in backing the teachers no matter what the topic is.Other parents have mentioned this also.Its sad because this used to be a really good school.
This school use to have an excellent reputation. Unfortunately, with changes in teachers/principals the school has lost the controls it use to have that allowed for a strong education.
My children have both had good experiences attending Kanawha Elementary School. I would recommend this school for any child to attend.
Kanawha school is a very nice school. It's not too big and the principal is very nice.
