Overall I am pleased with GWE and the learning opportunities it has provided my daughter. This is a small school where teachers, administrators, and staff get to know the children. In many cases, there is a small teacher to student ratio. I am disappointed that there is little focus on challenging the children beyond the classroom, or to their fullest potential. In addition, there is little staff involvement outside of the normal school hours. Parents do volunteer their time, but it's typically the same parents volunteering repeatedly versus a majority of parent helpers. It would be nice to see a stronger administrative leadership role in these areas. The school itself is in need of more technology, a better library, and more classrooms to accomodate the needs of the students. Unfortunately, art is non-existent.
