This is the best school in Marion County, in my opinion. This is my daughter's 4th year and she's doing great despite an attention challenge. We love the respectful and caring atmosphere and that everyone knows everyone else. The children are expected to be kind, respectful, helpful and prepared. I love that! I see that the academic expectations at this school are higher than what I see in the homework of the other children in my neighborhood who are attending public schools. We are not catholic and pay a little more but think it is worth it.

This is a wonderful school and has had an amazing affect on our student. Much better than public school system and well worth the money. The staff is here because they believe in what they are doing and do it well. I would highly reccomend this school to anyone without hesitation. No complaints not even one.

Great school, wish there could be a little more parent involvement. Seems to be a crowd who run things and are not very open to new faces. My kids love the principal, teachers and support people.

Fairmont Catholic was a great school UNTIL they raised their tuition $1000 a year for non catholic students. This broght the grand toal close to $4000 a year plus all the incidentials that the teachers ask for cash for, and they're alot of those. Be prepared to fork out alot of money, but it does have advantages.

Very neat, clean, involved, and an excellent source of help for my child Ashley. She struggled in alot of subjects, and had several problem areas. This school has made me see the different side of her, the side that wants to learn.

The teachers here are great and give their all. The parent support is wonderful and so are most of the student. However the students are pulled from classes in order to meet church needs and sometimes the principal over or under reacts to discipline.

I graduated from Fairmont Catholic last year, and am now attending a public high school. FCS was a great experience for me. The teachers were involved, and everyone knew each other.

My son attends has attended this school since Kindergarten and he loves it. His teachers, classmates, and the environment. The dress code is very easy and acceptable. There is mutual respect from the prinicples to the teachers to the students, that continues to the families. In fact, you become part of a larger family. I greatly appreicate all that Fairmont Catholic offers our kids.

My children go there and it is a very nice school. Better than any public school. A quote from my child in 4th grade is, 'My teacher, Mrs. Compton, rocks!'

i have two children in this school and love the teachers, academically it is a great school. However, the principal has turned her head on numerous occasions when it comes to discipline.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
