The Principal and Teachers are great! I love this school and my kids love going to school there. I think the small school setting is wonderful and it helps each child feel important, not like a number. Everyone is treated fairly and the principal really takes the time to listen and help you. Teachers work to make learning fun. It is a great school!

Principal is not Leadership material, she is better suited to go back to teaching. Most teachers there are good. Parent involment is Not encourged. Parents often complain they have no idea what is going on with school projects, actitvies. Need more communication!

My kids have attended Glenville Elementary for the past 5 years (K-4 and Pre K-1). I think this school is amazing! The principal is always willing to talk to you and help where ever she can. I do think that they need more time in Gym, Art and music though. they are offered baseball, soccer, and basketball, (working on football). Overall it's a great school!

I would say it is above average in the academic programs. Availability of Music is once a week and art once a week (these may be cut altogether, due to budget concerns. Parent involved is the area that needs work, parents do not know what is going on at the school, and some parents feel like they are not wanted or welcomed there. I would say it is just a lack of communication more than anything between home & school that is the biggest problem.
