They really just push the kids aside. My sons teacher has a light on her desk. If she is in a "bad mood", she turns the light on and the students are not allowed to talk to her. What are you getting paid to do b!+ch????
I had a principal LAUGH at my son and tell him to go away when he asked her a question to help clear his name from an incident on the bus. She said she would apologize to him, but never did. My son was sick (no fever), just vomitting, I picked him up from school. When he returned to school, his teacher said "ewwww, your back?" A caring teacher would have said "Are you feeling better? Welcome back!"
My son is in his first year at Potomack, and so far I think it is a great school. The security they have in place is awesome. The teacher keeps up with the weekly reports on Edline. Overall, I am impressed and my son is doing very well there.
Potomack was a nice school. The teachers were very easy to work with. The only complaint I had was all the signing every night in the planner. This 'responsibility' was totally a waste of time as it did not carry over into the middle school.
