This school is a large disappointment. Rules are set but not inforced, the focus seems to be on sports not academics. Most of the classes are extremely EASY there are even bogus classes that should be against the law. Response to parents is extremely rude.

Administrative staff is extremely rude, and uncommunicative. The "horror" stories from other parents are appalling! Multiple yearly NCLB failures of this school mean I WILL be exercising my right next year to send my children to an excellent alternative (Blennerhassett) instead of this mismanaged school. The Principals attitude toward parents/students, discipline style, and communication are much more than lacking. In my opinion, the only way to increase the NCLB scores is to have a student/teacher/parent relationship that fosters support and communication. None of this exists within the current Administration. Without this support; there is little to no chance of increasing this schools score. I cannot help but feel the utmost disappointment, irritation, and general disgust concerning this school and it's Administration. The Wood County Board of Education would do well to recognize and act to resolve the abhorrent problems at this school. Thankfully, there is the NCLB (No Child Left Behind) legislation to protect our children from this type of mismanagement within the School, District, County, and State.

This is an amazing school for your children it. The school has great test scores and is a great place. sure it is strict but it helps to keep you safe. T^he principal is a great person who has your best interest at heart. The teachers are mostly great especcialy Mr. Radcliff who teaches discipline and responsibility for your actions. Over all this is a great school.

I am extremely appalled by this school and by several staff members that work in it. I believe that faculty should uphold a certain moral character, because they are role models for our children. I see that it truely lacks in this school, not by all, but by those who count most. I dislike the principal. I feel she has a control issue and mistreats select students. I would never send my child to this school for too many reasons to list.

Most of the teachers are great. I feel my child is getting an excellent education. The band and choir are top-notch! I also applaud their rules for behavior. It is important to give young people boundaries.

this school is to strict ,the school takes its discipline to far and someone from the B.O.D. needs to rceconize this. the principal will pick out and then pick on students with problems like anger etc.

Edison is a nice average size school. Positives: Good band, sports, and other extra curricular activities. Downside- Principal is overbearing and insensitive to students-she is 'overly' professional in her actions. Lack of tech savvy teachers abounds in this school. Lack of communication exists as well. There are better places to send your children- choose wisely.
