Richwood High School

Richwood High School is an exceptional school, however many ignore this fact. One reason Richwood is thought of as a less than satisfactory school is because it's not well funded. However, the teachers are able to provide hands on education because they are a single A school. The school has been around for many years, so that basically tells you there isn't much wrong with the school itself. Every school has its problems,but Richwood High School doesn't have many to worry about at all. If you were considering either Richwood or Nicholas County High Schools, I would deffinately think it through thoroughly. While NCHS has many more oppertunites than RHS, NCHS also has many more students-making it harder to learn and understand what is going on in class. Richwood High School is made up of hardworking, trustworthy people and should be recongnized for such.

This is the 2nd worst school out of 6 schools that I've attended, There is no motivation, fairness or kindness there just so much bullying, harassment , & classroom disruptions along with disrespect. On top of that it's a double standard school, if you're not an athlete then you'll not going to be treated well at all. I'd recommend you attend or have your child attend Nicholas County High School located in Summersville (same district), other than this school, NCHS is probably the best choice to pick compared to Richwood and surrounding school districts.
