Rupert is not a school I would recommend to any human being. Rupert teachers are almost fine except some of the 3rd grade teachers but that Principle of theirs is horrible! The students call the school jail and I do not see that as a good thing. If you have a choice, do not go there!!!

The kids refer to this school as a prison. No matter what your kid does, he/she is wrong and the faculty is right--they will not compromise. Your child is not allowed to express his or her opinion and if they do, they get a discipline referral. They expect all the kids to act the same, think the same and be the same--little minature adult robots. What ever happened to allowing our kids to be kids? At Rupert Elemantry, what comes out of the child's mouth is more important than what goes into his head. This school cares more about rules, regulations and punishment than educating our kids.

Karen Angle is the best teacher in Greenbrier County. She should receive an award for her technique, attitude with children and parents, dedication to teaching and the example shown by the way she lives her life in front of the children. She pays special attention to the educational needs of the slower and/or advanced - equally. Mrs. Aldridge has proven she can operate a school!
