My daughter started at TVCS in 9th grade and is now in 10th grade. We, the whole family, love it. She has definately blossomed at this school and was very much accepted when she started there, even though she started just in High School. The kids were very kind and accepting. I can't say enough good things about the staff there. It is definately a breath of fresh air compared to her experience in a public middle school. She has been challenged academically, which is a great thing. She is definately much better off attending a school of this caliber compared to the public schools.

At Teays Valley Christian School the teachers love there jobs and there students, they actualy care about the welfare of there students. Jack Davis, the principal, is a great mentor, friend, and disciplinarian, he loves each and every student but he still knows when to crack the wip or tell a joke. The only thing I would say is that it is hard for children enroled in Jr.High because TVCS students have a strong bond with each other and it is sometimes hard for students to infultrate it and be accpeted or sometimes it isnt. Through it all I would say Teays Valley Christian School is the best learning environment in this state mainly because of its staff and teacher love and care and its christian standpoint on learning.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
