It does not get any better. Great parent involvement, great inspiring teachers, and a great principal. All of the children are well behaved, love the school and are inspired to learn. Compared to other public schools, this school stands tall and I credit the learning environment to the entire staff at Shepherdstown elementary.

Nice small school with good class sizes. Lots of parental involvment. My kids love going here.

I have a son in first grade who loves the school. The academics were too easy, and the teacher worked with him and some other kids to introduce academics from the 2nd grade in order to keep them challenged. The security getting into the school is somewhat lax. I've walked in several times to pick him up and have never been questioned. Other than that, I've been really pleased with the school overall.
