Vienna Elementary School

My child is in Mrs. Cummons Pre-K class and we both LOVE this school and her and Mrs. Richards. He has grown so much and learned so much this year! The atmosphere of the school feels so inviting and welcoming. I wish we were in district so he could go here again next year and the years to come. Thank you Mrs. Handly for such a great school experience for us!

I went to Vienna School back in the late 60's.It was a good school then and continues to be with excellent teachers.

Vienna Elementary is a superior academic school and also superior in caring for each and every student as individuals. The principal, teachers and staff know all the students by name and their family situation and are indeed concerned for each and everyone of them. Christmas is often hard for some of their students and they make certain that all who need financial help receive all that they need to have a very nice Christmas. That is only one way that the staff and the students are all family. In todays rushed life it is wonderful to have people who genuinely care for people in a school setting.

Great school! Teachers really care about the kids and want them to succeed. Lots of ways for the kids to learn. Supports Odyssey of the Mind (wonderful program)! Encourages parental involvement.

We have had children in this school for 10 years and I could not be any happier with the education that our girls have received. The caring staff and fellow classmates have definitely made a POSITIVE impact on both of our girls. Times may be changing but the staff at Vienna Elementary has definitely remained 'top notch!'

I think this is an excellent school as the principal is a true leader who leads and not orders around and is a problem solver , compassionate as weel as firm . and asks her teachers to do the same !

West Virginia School of Excellence. Has the best kindergarten teachers in the state. Excellent principal, caring and concerned staff, tons of extracurricular activities, we couldn't be happier!
