This school is amazing, I love it. The principal is involved with every aspect of the school. All the teachers I have met are very friendly and they love the kids. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and take part in all activities. The parents really get involved, their is anywhere from 150 to 200 parents at each PTO meeting, And we are encouraged to give our ideas. But first and foremost they put the students learning first..

I think this is a great school. I have three children who attend Wayne Elementary. My kids have learned so much. The teachers they have had so far are excellent. Some stand out more than a few but their all wonderful. They also get enough extracurricular activities, which includes art, music, gym, computer lab, and even get to have a school dance on holidays. They have a wonderful principal that really lets them know how to behave which is great we really need that today. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as a helper to tutor the children and help out the teachers. I moved away from this school district at one time but I only stayed away for about a month and I brought my kids right back to this school. They were even upset they left and cried for their teachers. I have great respect for this school and its staff.
