I like wayne and all but ik think that the lunches should just be one extended instead of splitting everyone up.
I think Wayne is an wonderful school to go to. I've went therer my whole school life. The only flaw there was the bleachers but we got them fixed over the summer.
To the parent who stated her son never has homework: I am a senior at Wayne High School. I know all the science teachers, all the history teachers, and all the math teachers. If your son never has homework he is either doing it at school, or lying to you. Every science teacher at the school gives homework. Two of the history teachers rarely give assignments but they are more class-based teachers anyhow, and Mr. Mills, one of the math teachers, gives homework almost EVERY night. Math classes at Wayne have homework fairly often especially Mr. Mills' class. Not that any of the teachers I have mentioned are bad. I have enjoyed every teacher I have ever had at Wayne. I would suggest you visit your sons teachers after you get his first report card though.
My son is in 10th grade and complains about the food. He said its old or pre-packaged. Worst food he's ever had. He never has homework. He has said that the students are very nice. Science, history and math are great. He likes everything about this school except the thrown together lunch.
I went to school at Wayne and now have a son attending it. I am sure there are some things that could use improvment, most places do, but over all I love that my son attends Wayne. They have a wide variety of academics, athletics and even clubs. I love that we are still a small school and almost everyone knows everyone there and that makes it easier as a parent. Over all I gave Wayne a B++
I am a 10th grade student at wayne high and this school has an average amount of academic selections. Our food is actually not very good either. The school has much room for improvement in my opinion.
I went to wayne high school in 1963-66 it was a great school then and still a great school all my faily has attended this school.and also attended elememtary schools in wayne county. good programs for the students, nice facilities. and still maintain the close neighborhood attitude and friendly.puts alot into the sports programd for the students also.go pioneers. and keep the good work up teachers. i know some of the teachers there i went to school with them and happy to know they continued there education and became a teacher. wayne high has inspiraed alot of young students life's and help them make and take the right direction in there future. past student ,God Bless wayne high school
I just graduated from WHS and it is a really great school, couldnt ask for anything better. Really nice staff, teachers, students and even cooks. WHS is a down to earth school with everthing that is needed for a great education.
I am currently a junior at WHS, and I would like to say that Wayne is a nice school that offers a lot of opportunities. Journalism, football, and band are all particularly exceptional. Scheduling is difficult (and often insulting, as the counselors will change anything for a parent but practically nothing for a student.) Despite this, it is a good school for those interested in the curriculum offered.
As a junior at Wayne High School I think the school is really good. The teachers are great and are willing to help, athletic and academic programs are great at helping students to excell, and the classes teach me a lot. This school does not have everything though but I have had the privalage to particapate in Upward Bound at Marshall University it is a great program and I have made a lot of friends from Cabell Midland, Huntington, Tug Valley, and Tolsia.
