Mount De Chantal Visitation Aca

Although Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy is coming to an end in just a couple of days, it remains to be the best school it can be to the very end. It is sad to think that all the history and events and fun times that have gone on here are not going to continue next year. It is sad to think that I only had the oppurtunity to spend my sixth grade year at mount, unlike many of the highschoolers and allumni. It is unfortunate that the decision was made to close the mount, but I knew that it had to take place one way or another. Mount de Chantal is unique. We have in depth discussions every day, and no one is afraid to share their opinion. I especially love music. Although the decision was right, Mount seems to be closing before its time.

As an involved parent, this is a great school, my daughter loves the individual attention and challenging coursework. The atmosphere is very family-like. My daughter loves focusing on her art in addition to the core subjects. Go take a tour, it is worth your time.

My daughter is having a wonderful experience at 'The Mount'. She is a gifted student. The Mount makes special accomodation for her needs making sure that she is challenged. The school has a caring nurturing environment and a facility that has a feeling of family. She is a 7th grader who has been at the school for 10 years beginning in their Montessori pre-school, through the coed elementary school and is now in the girls only high school. I couldn't be happier about the quality of education she receives as well as the positive social environment. The school has a boarding program, but we live in Wheeling and my daughter is a day student.
