I have had my daughter at this school since Kindergarten and love it! The first teacher she had really brought enthusiasm for learning into her teaching and it showed every day! The teachers are great and my daughter continues to learn a lot as the years go by. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking for an energetic environment that nurtures learning and the child.

In this school you need to be your childs advocate, due to the fact that leadership feels the teachers should not spend extra time preping for class with students who need that extra support or challange. Altoona has a chosen few who are extrodinary teachers and truely know your child and their needs. Teachers are hard to set one on one parent time with to discuss your childs education. This makes it extremely hard to help make your childs education a succesful and posative experience for them. Also prepping your child for middle school responsability is lacking to say the least. In this school our administration has a hard time with managing the budget as well.
