My daughter loves school at Townview! The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really care about the kids and do their best to make sure they are learning and growing. The art and music programs are very creative, and Mr. Mac (McClellan), principal, is very hands on and thoughtful. Classroom activities are personalized for kids at different levels.

Changing from Powers to Townview was a scary experience for both my daughter and myself. He teacher went out of his way to make her feel comfortable and kept in contact with me to let me know of her progress. The office staff is very friendly and helpful The principal spends more time with the students than behind his desk as it should be. Not many principals climb the monkey bars! As a parent it feels great knowing that your children are taken care of and loved as much as school as they are at home.

The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.

Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the WSAS test. As a result of these changes, proficiency scores for Wisconsin schools are lower than they were in previous years.
