The highest test scores in the district says it all. Excellent staff, wonderful PTO. Three kids attending and they all like going to school.
I have had three kids go through Lyons and wouldn't have wanted them anywhere else! The teachers and principals have high standardsand expectations for academics, respect, and compassion between and among students and staff. The teachers my kids have had K-4 have put in the extra time, effort, and energy to meet the upper level-higher academic needs of our boys. The extra projects, webquests, and clubs that my kids were included in have made a positive impact-my kids are passionate learners in part due to the extra effort that Lyons Center staff has put forth on behalf on their students. It is a small school with a big heart!
