Since the previous reviews were quite old, I thought that it was time to write a new updated one! Cadott Elem had a new principal in Sept. 2009 again, after a time of transition. New principal is firm and well-liked. I especially like that he is currently putting clamps down on parent requests for teachers for their children, only allowing for educational reasons and only allowing request for NOT having a particular teacher, rather than requesting only one. We'll see if it follows through. That being said, my daughters' education has been above excellent. Being a SAGE grant school, their classes in the lower grades are never over 15-16! My kindergartener was reading by Christmas... and the teachers are always willing to go above and beyond! My only complaint is that Cadott is a small town, and I find the other parents to be rather cliquey. Takes time to 'break in.'

new principal in Sept, 2005- female, is doing a good job, making subtle changes. I disagree with the previous review. The old principal was kind, used to walk with students during his lunch period,etc. Wonderful teachers, some should retire-------Art in particular, wonderful band/choir teacher and the phy-ed teacher Rocks! Lots of Christian teachers with strong, old fashioned morals.

The current Principal one seems cold and lacks elementary school age children skills, he would be better suited for a High School. He lacks compasion and seems to care more about test scores and getting more education funding than the actual children taking the tests. I have personally witnessed this man stand right next to several of his students and not even say 'hello'. On the flip side Cadott has some of the greatest teachers that I have had the pleasure of dealing with, they work long into the evening and early in the morn to assure you your child gets the best education available. They are always at seminars and such, trying to better there education as well as our childrens.
