-Class of 2014 graduate - Stratford Junior/Senior High is a great place to attend for any student who wishes to acquire the necessary education needed for college. Special Education service is amazing, and the classes offered are very dynamic. With the addition of Blackboard and Odysseyware online courses, the possibilities are endless. Unfortunately, Stratford is fairly obsessed with sports. For a student who is passionate about sports, this is an incredible school; but for one, such as myself, who had a passion for writing, drawing, or reading; such appeasement was difficult to find here. The school is very involved in sports, but lacks groups for the students who put sports behind other things, such as a book club. This greatly limits the options for many students and may leave many greatly non-social, thus putting them in an uncomfortable position. The teachers here can be very persistent when it comes to assignments, which isn't a bad thing. No student is left in the dark, their grades are always being watched closely, and if one is to fall behind, a teacher will be there to help immediately. Because of this, failing high school is an extremely unlikely scenario.
