I was really hoping this would be a wonderful school for my daughter who is in kindergarten. She has been in school for a few years now - started around 2-3 at a private school. But I thought public school here would be good. Unfortunately, I was wrong. They are teaching kids about things I do not agree with - and have very little communication and information about their curriculum. My daughter started having an attitude change for the worse - and saying she hated her cousin and things were not "stupid." Turns out the teacher was reading a book that was very inappropriate - something along the lines of the Stinky Smelly School bus. And besides that, I now found out they will be teaching the kids about sex ed and multiple religions - although they left out Christmas altogether in their pamphlet/letter they sent home - they will teach and have "activities" or "celebrations" on Hanukaha, las posadas, Kwanzaa, a Hindi holiday and EID for the muslims. I am not against her learning about these things when she is older, but don't want her celebrating them at school of all places - it seems out of line.

Edgerton Elementary has always been a school of high standards. Now my grandchild is going there, as her father did.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. In all areas, academic, social, and extracurricular, I would give it the highest ratings. The involvement and caring of the adults involved in this school, parents, teachers, and administration is outstanding! I have three children who have received a wonderful education here.

Well, the special classes are very exiting for our kids! They love their new teacher and are always bringing back really nice things that they made in class.

I have 2 boys at Edgerton Community and the staff and teachers are the most accessible, communicative and professional people any parent could possibly want for their children. From the Early Childhood Program, to the Performing Arts Center, the Edgerton School District offers so many opportunities for parents and children to learn and explore. The best part is this gem is it is nestled among bigger cites, yet Edgerton retains a safe, small-town environment. We are proud to send our boys off to school to their wonderful teachers, each and every day.

Edgerton has a lot to offer children & their parents: great teachers that are committed to their students, up to date facilities for extra- curriclar activities, & a working PTA that helps fund field trips, lyceums, & advocate for public education & it's continued success.

The involvement of the staff, volunteers, community and parents are what make the Edgerton school district an ideal setting for our children. The school is very open to new ideas and promptly addresses any issues that come up. The percentage of children accepted into colleges with stringent guidelines and high grade point averages speaks volumes for the academic programs and teachers in the district. We're especially pleased with the extracuricular activities that Edgerton has to offer compared to other school districts our size. We're very proud to host events in the beautiful Performing Arts Center and Field House. I've heard parents from other districts comment about how nice it is to come to Edgerton to use our 'high tech' facilities.
