I went to Brookwood my whole life (K-8) and graduated in 1986. My 2 girls attend there now. My biggest complaint then and now is that there aren't enough classes offered to prepare you for Badger HS. Badger has many classes that allow you to use your Middle School grade/experience to transfer over (i.e. FACE, French, Shop/Technology) but from a small town school those classes aren't available. And since the High School is technically in a different school district, there isn't the ability to take classes offered at the other schools. For example, my daughter was in Orchestra (different school district) from 4-6th grade. This district won't let her play with the Lake Geneva Middle School Orchestra even though it feeds into the same High School. If the classes aren't offered at one feeder school, you should be allowed to benefit from another school that does or have floating district/feeder teachers.

3 children, 1 graduated., 1 in 7th grade, one in 6th grade. Academics: The teachers care about the students having success in school. The school has uses 'Web Grader.' Enables a parent to see their child's current overall grade as well as the score for each assigment. An e-mail option is great for fast and current communication with teachers. Athleticfs: A lot of students - few positions on team. They could use intermural sports teams so the students who don't make the team can practice within a 'real' game situation. Band: New for 2007-8 school year is an unenthusiastic, uninspiring, sarcastic, mediocre talented (both in playing instruments & directing) teacher. It is a shame. The Board should conduct an 'end of year review' to be completed by students and parents. I think it would be valuable.

Priorities are not on education they are on basketball. The gap when they get to High School is obvious.
