I am a grandmother of 7. Six of my grandchildren have attended Zion Lutheran School. I could not be more pleased with the excellent education each has received. They are also growing in their faith day by day. The teachers are superb and offer one to one special attention.

The dedication, competence, friendliness, and concern for my children by the teachers is incredible. We're in a good public school district, but the education at Zion is even better. At Zion students also learn how to be kind and polite to one another -- truly skills for a productive life!

I have three children in Zion and have experience with all the classrooms from pre-K through the 7th & 8th grade. Zion is Christian education done right. The student to teacher ratio is low, my kids get individually tailored curriculum enhancements to keep them interested and growing, the academics are top notch, and the teachers are truly wonderful people interested in the success and growth of each student. The tuition is cheap because the church pays for about 80% of the school's operating costs. Prior to moving to the Lake Country area, my wife and I had experience with both home-schooling and with other Christian and public schools, so we have high expectations and some history to compare against; Zion scores very well compared to the schools we have dealt with in the past. I highly recommend this school for quality-minded parents looking for Christian education.

Please look for other private schooling options! This church and school has many financial and social problems. I feel that because the school was so small I did not develop socially. Report cards were given out with a mark of church service attendance. Participation in all church events is foced. The church has so many clicks and so arrogant that they never would call someone to outreach/evangelize for new members. They felt it 'unneccessary' with the attitued 'here we are, where are ya?' Academically the school is good but there is more to life than academics. Teaching God's word is one thing. Forcing it another. I'm glad I am saved by God but would not reccommend this school if you're looking for private schools. A much better choice is Divine Redeemer Church and School located in Hartland also. -Former Student
