All four of our kids have gone to Madison. There are fabulous and committed teachers at this school, and the new principle in 2009-2010 is very effective!

My daughter started her in kindergarten and is now about to finish first grade. She has had two different principals and they were both wonderful. Her kindergarten teacher Mrs. Kobler is her 'best friend' and her first grade teacher Mrs. H Marshall is wonderful as well. They are very student orientated and doing a wonderful job teaching the kids. There music program is wonderful as well as a yearly talent show. We will be sorry to see the music teacher leave my daughter adores her. We are very proud of the success that my daughter has had in learning, she is an excellent reader... this is all due in part to the wonderful teachers and setting at Madison School

The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.

Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the WSAS test. As a result of these changes, proficiency scores for Wisconsin schools are lower than they were in previous years.
