As a former student, I feel Parker has a great staff all around, they really care about the students and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure each student succeeds.

Parker, along with Craig High School (eastside high school), is getting a $70 million dollar referendum. It's going to be a wonderful school when it is completed in the fall of 2009. Furthermore, the teaching staff is great and the athletics, for the most part, are very good.

Parker is an absolutely outstanding school. It has the finest teaching staff in Wisconsin. Teachers who really care about the well being of their students.

Parker is an average school. It is nothing to get excited over, but it is a nice learning environment. The school was only built to hold about 1200 people, but now it is home to over 1800 students plus staff. Needless to say, it is a little crowded. The school hasn't really been updated since it was built back in the 60s so many things tend to be quite outdated and small. The sports are great. The football team goes to state pretty much every year, and there are many clubs to get involved in. Our girls basketball program is also quite amazing, one of the well known female basketball players in college, Misty Bass, jumpstarted her career at Parker. All in all, the school is decent

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.

The different student groups are identified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. If there are fewer than 5 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group. Subgroup scores for each school are only reported for students who were enrolled as of the fall enrollment count. The All students score includes results for all students who took the test, regardless of when they first enrolled in the school.
