I am an 8th grader here at Jefferson MIddle School and I know we have a great school because we just won an award for being the best district in Wisconsin. That is really showing something right there. They filmed us, and were going to be on PBS. AMAZING teachers and they really help you if you need help.

You hear so many horror stories about kids in middle school and how very important these years are to establishing a stong foundation for not only their high school careers but their lives in general. Well, I have felt completely comfortable and impressed by our middle school in Jefferson. The most important thing I can say about our school is that we have excellent leadership. Our principal is involved and truly cares about the children in his building. He's a wonderful man. It is because of him that the staff in the building also do a tremendous job. Our district has a wonderful Special Ed. dept. that extends the district, as well as magnet classes to challenge the excellerated students. Only concerns are with districts ability to look to the future and prepare for it. We have to do things that are hard now, in order to prepare for future generations.
