One of my daugthers graduated last school year of 2006-2007, and went on to public school to become #1 out of 300 of her 7th grade peers. Her best friend, whom is in another school due to boundry lines, was ALSO first in her class of 7th graders. Both qualified for 8th grade Pre-Algebra, and this year are in Algebra, both still getting straight A's. My youngest daughter has dyslexia, but with the small class sizes, she's never had to wait for help. Every child needs to feel that learning is it's own reward, and enjoy learning for the sake of learning. Every time I read about this school or that school adjusting it's curriculum, I laugh. 'Hands on learning' was invented by Maria Montessori, over 100 years ago! www.kenoshaMontessoriSchool.com Thank you.

It's early in the year so far for writing a review, but so far I must say that I am extremely impressed with this school. The staff is excellent and my child is thriving in ways he did not last year. I clearly attribute this to the staff and they way the respond to my child in such a positive and encouraging way. I highly recommend this school. Their preschool and kindergarten is great too. The methods of learning are great too. The teach the interconnectedness of everything, they learn about cooking, art, music, spanish, gym amongst the basics.
