Handles bullying effectively: Agree

- a
I don't believe that has ever been an issue because there are many ages and all the kids are friends.

Develops character: Strongly agree

- a
Every week they have a theater teacher come and teach them about Middos and good character traits. Then they are given a situation which they perform and need to figure out a way to act out a solution.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

- a
The teachers are warm and understanding. They are very interested in the material they teach and get the kids excited to learn

Amount of homework: Strongly agree

- a
My son never has more than 15 minutes of homework a day if that much.

- a
My son loves school and can go at his own pace.

- a
This school has such a caring, thoughtful, creative staff! They create an integrated curriculum--reading, math, science and social studies are related, and are enhanced with music and art, so students latch onto big ideas and are eager to learn and practice new skills. The Hebrew language study is also so participatory. Students are grouped flexibly, there is lots of one-on-one time, and expert help for those who need it. My student made such fast progress, and loved it. Plus, he feels like he's friends with everyone in the school.

Handles bullying effectively: Strongly agree

- a
There just isn't any. The students are friendly with each other.

Supports LD students: Strongly agree

- a
There is expert tutoring for several students with specific challenges. Student groupings are flexible and based on students' immediate needs. Teachers frequently work with students individually. Also, when the students work in larger groups, their differences are treated with respect.

Effective school leaders: Strongly agree

- a
The head of the school, besides leading the teachers in integrating curriculum, brings in so many outside specialists to shine a light on specific subjects the students are working on.

Develops character: Strongly agree

- a
The students share and help and enjoy each other. The teachers set the example for respecting each student's own special interests and talents.
