Diverse student body. Kind and qualified staff with low turnover. Strong leadership focused on results. Small classroom sizes. Despite the higher rate of poverty and higher percentage of ESL students my kids are doing well and enjoying it. This school continues to move in the right direction. Don't base your opinion entirely on standardized test scores.
I think the school should reconsider combining the fourth and fifth grade. More focus needs to be put on the fifth graders who will be entering middle school in the fall and this isn't possible with both grades together.
Despite continual budget cuts and a high proportion of students who qualify for free/reduced price lunch, Lindbergh is a thriving elementary school. A small school with between 230 and 260 students, Lindbergh boasts a diverse student body, small class sizes, and experienced teaching teams who work cooperatively with each other, parents and community members to create a vibrant learning environment for all children.
