Menomonie High School

I am currently a student here and I really like this school. Everyone says it's a 'football' school and if you're not a 'jock' you will feel left out. Well I am not a jock nor a band/ orchestra kid, I am just an average joe and I am one of the most popular kids here. I do not leave anyone in the dust, I try to include everyone and I talk to everyone. Menomonie is a great place to go to school. Also some people say it's unsafe... well there are rare fights, maybe 2-3 a year and they are not serious and when there is a fight, everyone hears about it and is taken care of. Also the principles are the greatest and doesn't exclude anyone. So I'd suggest Menomonie as a school.

This school is probably the worst that my children have attended. The principals don't care unless you have a lot of money or if your student is a star athelete of the football team. It is my experience that even when you want to be a good parent that if you are lucky you might get a response from half of the teachers.

Menomonie has a very good high school. All of the staff, and the programs are top notch.

As a parent of a student at MHS I think we have a wonderful school. The school is one of the best in the state for academic scores, the athletic and fine arts programs are all very good. it is not just a school for students who play football, but they do have a very good team.

We moved to the area this year My child has had a really hard time, the school is dirty outdated and unless you play football you are nothing. They do not put the effort towards organization or fairness. I am not happy with this school at all!

Unless you play football, this school is not for you. The football program pretty much determines the outcome of most situations. The football coach is mean and makes fun of kids that don't think division 3 football is the way the truth and the light! This behavior is taught and accepted. If you want to play any other sport and not be harrased, don't pick Menomonie High School.

As a student that has attended this school for the past three years, I would have to say that this is honestly the best school in the entire Eau Claire-Hudson region. You may think I'm biased because, again, I'm a student here but if you just come to visit this school, you'll understand what I mean. The teachers here are great; they're friendly and the class sizes are small enough to make sure that you get the attention you deserve from the teachers. The student population here is awesome also. Every school will have its cliques; here at Menomonie High, the cliques are all nice to one another and oftentime in most cases, people will be jocks, nerds, and music geeks all at once! I highly recommend this high school for anyone moving to the western wisconsin region.
