We recently relocated from out of state and have been more than pleased with Steffen Middle School. In one year, our children felt like the had a family at Steffen. The teachers and staff are excellent and there are those that go out of their way to help your children grow both academically and emotionally. I have been very impressed with their experience and ease of assmilation into the Steffen community. This year of transition could not have been better for our children, their education, and their middle school experience.

Very lovely school, we came here from Russia and the teachers gave very good support for my childs. From what my sons tells me the teachers are fun and innovative. There are always some fun activities, like going to camp. All the teachers seem very understand too. Each child get to experience all related arts activity at sixth grade music, art, tech ed, face. So they can later choose in 7th grade how which classes they will like. My younger son also said that the gym class is fun and that the teacher is very helpfull too! Im very happy that my sons were able to go to this wonderfull of school.

Great middle school! Attentive staff, good class size, challenging curriculum. I've had two children in this school with very different needs. Both have excelled in this environment. Outstanding advanced courses for the accelerated learner. Equally outstanding special education program for the special need child. I grew up in Whitefish Bay, a suburb known for its quality education. We lived there until the boys started school. I'm glad we're in the Mequon-Thiensville system. It's just that much better. My oldest was even in the private college prep school, but we're happier with the M-T schools. I have friends who are also taking their kids out of the private prep school and sending them to Homestead for high school. That's how good this system is.
