You don't have to know spanish to help your child. If you want to understand more use google translate!

MSIS hasn't been as family friendly since Principal Sra. Martel left after the 2014-15 school year. The new 88th Street (Lower Campus) was a great idea so that more children can attend MSIS. Still a good school but glad my child only has one year left after this one.

My daughter went here for K4-5. We all had an amazing experience at MSIS. Very caring and dedicated teachers, and lots of parent involvement.

Not to trilled about Milwaukee Spanish immersion new campus on 88th st. there is so much improvement that is needed at current campus on 55th st. Teacher are working in extremely hot classroom god bless them and our poor children that have to suffer through. Children lost in hallways for these reason I take my child to school instead of the bus. The money can be spent on some A/C and more staff. There is a Tour of the new campus going on Wednesday, September 9th 2015@4p.m. 3575 s. 88th st. Milwaukee, WI 53227. Come out and show your support. MONEY NEEDS TO BE SPENT ON CUUENT CAMPUS NOT OPENING OTHER CAMPUS

I love the school... My daughter has been attending since K4 and she will in 4th grade this year!!! All the teachers are nice and they want the best for the students. My daughter learned how to read in Spanish before she read in English. We speak Spanish at home, but having her also do it at school is great. I wish they would go until 12th grade!

My kids use to go here my daughter was in 4th grade when I had to pull her out due to them refusing my sons IEP. Yes I was told they don't have the staff to help my son out if he has a learning problem. Which he has ADD and he needed more one on one help. I've loved the teachers but being denied help for my son was very frustrating.

I graduated from this school in 1995 and it was the best decision that my parents could have made for me. Being bilingual has helped me tremendously throughout my adulthood. Jerrica Roberson

Hello! I have been to Milwaukee Spanish Immersion school for 7 years, my name is Kiah Lang and I am currently in 5th grade as of October, 2013. I love my school because the kids are so fun and nice and the teachers are so good! It's just a happy place to be! It is a great choice and it will help your child get a good education and an amazing job in their future. This is because they will know Spanish, and knowing Spanish will really help you out when you are looking for a job. As you can see, I am very good at writing and grammar and spelling, and this is because of Milwaukee Spanish Immersion, and of course my parents! -Kiah Lang, Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School, 10

My kids have gone here for 5 years, and it has gone from good to so so to great! They have learned a lot, and have made great friends. They have grown intellectually, socially, and emotionally. The teachers are caring, and I trust that they have their best interests at heart. It is a gem within MPS.
