Wisconsin Lutheran High School is a special place because it does a great job of blending a variety of cultures into a very positive school culture. Along with excellent academics and co-curricular activities, WLHS provides an excellent Christ-focused education! Teachers care about the bodies and minds of their students, for sure. But above all, they care for the souls of their students. Over 100 years of experience in Lutheran, Christian education makes this a strong, vibrant, orderly, and academically excellent school!

If you want a high quality, Christ-centered education in an atmoshphere that feels like family, Wisconsin Lutheran High School is the place for you! In my 15 years as an educator, I have never seen another school as high performing in so many areas than I have at WLHS. From athletics to music, acedemics to spirtual life, AP classes to low level support, this high school does it all and to the glory of God! Our volunteer coahes put more time and effort into their season than most coaches who are paid. Both coaches and teachers have a genuine Christian love for all students. They want students to succeed in the classroom, in athletics, but most importantly, they want to encourage students to be Christ-like leaders in their homes, communities, and churches. The cost of WLHS is reasonable for a private Christian school and is money well spent for parents and of course the graduates who will reap the benefits of all Wisconsin Lutheran has to offer. Anyone who has seen this school in action during a school day is amazed at how friendly everyone is and how well behaved the students are. This high school is one of few in the country that is operating at such a high level! Awesome!

WISCO is a great school for kids who have a history of excellent grades in junior high school or middle school, strictly A&B students, all others need not apply and shouldn;t apply you will be wasting a lot of money. Statistics are very important to WISCO and students who bring down the statistics will be cast aside, regardless of race. The put little effort into helping the kids that need it most. Rules are inconsistently enforced. Less than half the teacher even keep up the weekly reporting on line let alone daily. All the while the guidance office and administration hale the value of the online progress reportign system. I have seen weeks go by with no updates by more than 1 teacher. Guidance does not do as they say. they told us to trust them as they know what they are doing. That's a laugh. Trusting them cost a small fortune and a teen with nowhere to go for an education. So unless your child has a history of A&B's save your money and your child's time look elsewhere for an education. An utter waste, practically criminal!

Very biased school, coming from a student that attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. This school does not really allow students to speak their mind compared to a public school were creativity and open mindedness are encouraged. So many kids at this high school have many gifts and great ideas, but they administration seemingly scares the kids away from handing out opinions in fear of being degraded. If you want your child to have a closed mind and only pertain to Christ, go to WISCO, but if you want your child to explore their minds pick a public school. May I remind you ask half of the kids when Black history month is, and why ethnic fest is not part of the schools schedule.

The teaching staff is extremely dedicated to teaching the students to achieve their goal. If your child has the desire to achieve great things, they will do everything in their God given abilities to help.

Great school if you enjoy being an unimaginative meticulous brown noser. However, if you enjoy deep thinking outside of the box, and exiting points of view, along with encouraging inspiration. Run... and run fast. Good for traditional German Wisconsinites who want to teach at a Lutheran Grade School while trudging around in the snow 6 months every year for the rest of your life. If you want to go back to 1947, the doors welcome you. You will never want to leave your comfort zone here at WLHS! Otherwise, if you desire intellectual stimulation and creativity, don't even think about it. Teachers (not all) are often condescending/arrogant and the school is very discipline based, but if you hate being a unique individual it's cool i guess.

There is a fine line between ethical responsibility and completely ignorant legalism. Constructive criticism is nowhere in the vocabulary of wisco administration or staff, some of which resort to putdowns and arrogance to compensate for their lack of ability to harness ingenuity. It's highly unfortunate to see so much talent wasted through the unfairly subjective views of the judgmental administration tactics. I am conservative and realize that ethics and moral responsibility are important for the development of a teenager, but not in place of their confidence as a human being. It's more of a pharisee's temple than Jesus' garden at WLHS. I say this not to condemn, but to warn. Good school for musicians, pastors, and teachers. Not for engineers, scientists, or serious intellectuals. Academics are focused on busy work and procedures, less on relevant projects, tests, and application as seen in higher education and real life careers. This is a good school for a child to learn submission for authority and the daily grind of life. Not as well at harnessing creativity or visionaries. It's more of a protocol based bootcamp than an academic institution.

I love WLHS - thanks for partnering with us in teaching our children. What a blessing to know they not only grow academically, but also spiritually!

Wisconsin Lutheran is a fantastic school and I sincerely believe that there is no racial tension, espeially between teachers and students. For that to be suggested on here is absurd. I'm a student and the only racism I've ever encountered at Wisco is people being accused of it. I've never once witnessed it myself. The teachers all handle themselves in a professional manner and I can't think of one teacher who would make a racist comment to any student, of any race. Fantastc school, great students, great teachers. You can definitely tell that the teachers care about the success of their students and do all they can to help them towards of their goals of high school graduation, and their long term of graduating college and starting their career. I'm very proud of my school!

I believe that the great reports that are listed here are from the majority race, because I found that being a minority even in a so called Christian school is still being treated like a inferior individual but God knows the heart of men even when they try to pretend and all will be dealt with accordingly! Treat people the way you would want to be treated, children are children black, white, hispanics and asians in God's eye they are His and they are all the same!!!

My two daughters and other children who were not of the caucasian ethnicity were treated unfairly by the staff and unprofessional racist comments were made to them by the staff on many occasions so I recently chose to withdraw my two daughters out of this school.

I have had two children at Wisco, and i myself am an alumni. I would never send my childen any where else. Wisco's values mirror our own, and I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for an excellent high school.

My child currently attends Wisconsin Lutheran High School. The school is based upon Christian values. If you are looking for a school for your 8th grade child entering into 9th grade or if you are interested in transferring your child to a Christian prayer school, then WI Lutheran is certainly the school I would recommend. This school's administrative staff has a very low tolerance of unethical behavior. Each student in this school is expected to accept their own personal responsibility of being on time and following the school's guidelines. Parents are encouraged to get involved and you will even have access to your student's grades online. Each student share the same team spirit and the school's values of serving Christ. So if you are looking for a Christ-centered environment, WI Lutheran is a school you should consider.
