In response to the most recent comment, I am highly upset at such a false critique about my school! I like many of my peers who attend Reagan are full I.B. diploma students. Students in which have to work even harder then most AP schools. So it is extremely rude to make claims about ALL the students when you personaly do not know them or their work ethic!! Reagan is an extremely great school with amazing teachers and even better chances to better your future.

I find it hilarious that someone can leave such negative feedback to somewhere that you have not personally experienced. I myself attend Reagan High School and am very offended by that comment. Reagan is a great school to send your kids especially if you are looking to get a great education. I, and many others, take all IB classes, which are very hard to handle. I bust my butt of at Reagan and get good grades and for someone to even say that EVERYONE shows a lack of motivation just proves that they do not know much about Reagan.

My daughter"s first year their was amazing it was a rigorous schedule for her but, she did excellent in adjusting as a incoming freshman. she joined several of the clubs and the teachers are awesome they kept in contact with me regarding my daughter grades and her performance in and out of the classroom. The staff at Reagan cares about your child I feel completely confidence in sending my teen to Reagan everyday. Their security team really cares about the children and they nip any negative mess right away. I have never seen any gangs or drugs while i have been inside the school. The teens their all seem like one big family. I not saying they all get along all the time. but, they have respect for each other. It';s not a whole lot of fights and drugs like other MPS Schools. It is very diverse you will see alot of different ethnic teens at Reagan. From all over the globe. It's is truly a Great MPS School!!! It's has all three EXCELLENT TEACHERS, STRONG PRINCIPAL, AND CHALLENGING ACADEMICS. AND A GREAT STAFF TO HELP EVRYTHING RUN SMOTTHLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUR TEEN.

The teachers and other staff members really care about the needs of every student. The environment of the school is also one in which any student can feel safe learning in. Everybody in this school's community works together to provide only the best education for its students.

I am currently a student at Reagan and I have mixed feelings about my time at Reagan thus far. On the positive side, the IB curriculum is rigorous and definitely challenges students. Most of the teachers are very helpful and they know their stuff. The school also has many extracurricular activities. However, the administration fails to realize that a large portion of its student body is not prepared for the IB program, nor are they interested in taking advantage of all the opportunities Reagan offers. The administration also ignores its gang and drug activity which runs rampant. Its quite hard to enjoy school when your class is full a students who just don't care and, quite frankly, it isn't fair to the student who came to Reagan for the small school environment, and the challenging academics.

This is a fantastic MPS high school that gives students the opportunity to participate in a rigorous academic curriculum and earn college credit if their IB (International Baccalaureate) test scores are high enough. The teachers at Reagan are dedicated, hard working, and stay in close contact with parents. I love the fact that I get POSITIVE phone calls from teachers about my daughter. Besides the great academics, this school has a warm, inclusive, nurturing feel and is strongly anti-bullying.

I am sad to say that this previously wonderful school has fallen into the trap of trying to be so politically correct, that it is now using reverse racism to prove that they are fair. It is unfortunate because the school has a lot to offer academically. Administration needs to get past the race issue, stop reverse racism and just educate. The children and the school would all be better off.
