i love this school! i am a sixth grader at this school. they have great teachers. they have talented t-birds. Go T-Birds!
This school has done a lot of changes since my older boys were in school. Test scores have gone up and it is a better school.
I feel the students that are willing to excel are not worked with as much as the children with learning disabilities. I feel the primary focus is not on the students that are college bound and this is the reason good parents are sending their children to SCMS and SCHS. A lot of funding goes toward the children with emotional disabilities and not enough to those that excel. The 'on task' children are bored in class because they have to go at a pace of the others and have too much free time on their hands.
