Elmwood Elementary is a wonderful school. The facility is beautiful and the classroom teachers, for the most part, are wonderful. The music teacher at Elmwood was new this year and brought a new and exciting program into the school. The kids love her and the programs are above anyones expectations. This is a great school for co-curricular activities.

Elmwood is simply one of the elite elementary schools in Waukesha County. Elmwood consistently ranks near the top in terms of test scores. The teachers have high expectations and the parents, for the most part, are dedicated to their children's learning. It is a warm and caring environment that I can't recommend highly enough.

This is a wonderful school if you started out in it. For those that transfer in, I would not recommend it at all. Although the teachers are wonderful they are not properly trained to deal with the differences in education from school to school. Trying to get help is next to impossible and you are not notified if your child is under performing until the report cards come out. Overall, its a great learning environment, if you start and end there.

Beautiful new building, however it is not a school that offers oppurtunities for parents to be involved and feel involved in their childs education. New math program has been implemented and the science program is being redone district wide.
