North Lake Elementary School

North Lake is a wonderful small school. The teachers know you by name, the principal knows every student and family member by name, and the parents all have the opportunity to get to know each other well. The school has been upgrading all of their technology in the school and now have 3 computer rooms, smart boards in every classroom, and some new technology for the science department. These improvements have also helped the teaching staff to provide an even better learning experience for the students. I am always recommending this school to people I meet.

This is the best school we could have hoped for for our children. Teachers at North Lake have highest expectations for all K-8 students and work individually with students who need help to meet those expectations. All students achieve and succeed at North Lake. Incredible extracurricular activities, in our small close-knit community, make the days at North Lake 'always something to look forward to.' North Lake grads are among some of the most successful students at the demanding high school they attend. School motto is so accurate, 'There's Excellence Inside.'

NLS is one of the best kept secrets in the Arrowhead School District. Small class sizes and an outstanding teaching staff that goes above and beyond to make sure every child reaches his/her potential. While surrounding Arrowhead Schools have larger classroom sizes NLS remains a hidden jewel. Innovative ideas such as a parent operated 4K program allows an affordable option for 4K without taxing the taxpayers. If you are looking to relocate to this school district, NLS is the Best! It's only due to a job relocation that we are unable to continue our adventures with such a great school. Brenda Fritz
