I'm not sure what school this last reviewer was talking about. To start, the football program is terrible and has not had a winning season in at least 15 years or more. The students getting A grades can't even adequately score on their AP exams or ACT's.

This is a great school, they have one of the best choir and band programs in the state. They have an excellent art program/art club and Drama club. The teachers are all excellent and take the time to talk to the kids individually and really get to know them. They offer many AP classes and even have a partnership with NWTC to allow students to receive college credits in high school. If your looking for sports they have an excellent football team, basketball, volleyball, tennis, cross country, track and field, softball, baseball, Golf, and wrestling. The performing arts center at the school also offers the community the opportunity to see shows/events that many city's of a similar size usually cannot.

About the tests


In 2013-2014 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.
GreatSchools' ratings currently reflect 2012-13 testing data.



Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the WSAS test. As a result of these changes, proficiency scores for Wisconsin schools are lower than they were in previous years.
