If your child needs to be treated as an individual and not as a whole class, this is not the school district for you. If your child is in the average or above average, you should be safe. In other words, if your child struggles in any area and needs extra help, you will be better off finding a different school district. I am praying that with the new principal, there will be changes for the good (he seems like the man to do it). I honestly have never been in a school district with teachers that communicate as little as the ones in this district. It does seem that any of the teachers that have joined the district in the past 3 or 4 years are doing well in this area.
I can only say that this school is in the median. After moving from another area, this school is no different from other districts. They have issues (communication w/parents, discipline issues and more). Their rates are lower in some areas, then other districts in the area. If you can move or do open enrollment, look around first. If you can t, your child should get by here just like any where else.
