Everything! We had to move to find better schools and we were not disappointed once we started here. PVE has been wonderful for both of our children. The teachers really care and don't sit around complaning about what they don't have. Instead, they do the best with what they do have and try to find ways to bring in money on their own. The school is very open with parernts if something different or out of line occurs. We are not kept in the dark. If there is a problem it is dealt with and not swept under the carpet. My kids enjoy going and feel safe. That is important to me.

I have two children attending this school this year. My youngest in Kinder has had a great year! I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Wulff, she is exactly what a teacher should be! However, I also have a child in 2nd. Terrible year! This school only has three reporting periods per year with no parent/teacher conferences during the trimester. Only after report cards are distributed and just to discuss what is on the report card. My child has gone from being a GT student in one district to a below average student with no explination at all. My 2nd grader's teacher cannot keep her class under control and when I tried to speak with the principle about my concerns I felt very blown off. I am seriously considering pulling both of my children out of this school and putting them in private.

Prairie View has a spectacular principal who devotes herself to the entire school community. The teachers are energetic and continually seeking new and better ways to help the students comprehend and retain the curriculum. The enthusiasm at Prairie View is palpable.
