I'm an alumni of VCHS. It was a wonderful school, I made wonderful friends there. The teachers were more than teachers, they were friends who you could go to when you were troubled by whatever life brought your way. The only thing I regret is the closed curriculum, though we learned everything in Christianity, we didn't learn what is in the world to defend the faith; it was easier to laugh off what we didn't know, because it seemed better to know only Christianity. Otherwise, I recommend this school to parents and students, because you will find the love of God in the staff and classmates; many opportunities are waiting at this school!

Our 2 children attend OCS/VCHS and are having a wonderful experience. The teachers provide excellent learning opportunities. The staff and administration are friendly and available. Our children will be graduating soon and I am very pleased with how they have been challenged academically and spiritually to succeed. As a parent I have had many opportunities to participate in the school and be involved.

When we moved here from out of state, we were concerned about how our children would adapt to a new school. The atmosphere of OCS/VCHS was so welcoming! Our kids were quickly accepted by their classmates and loved by their teachers. The school has a wonderful Christ-centered emphasis on excellence and leadership. We are very happy!

My brother was ruthlessly bullied at this school, by his classmates, and there was absolutely no intervention by teachers, principal, etc. His experience was devastating and he eventually switched schools. I am sure that some feel a family atmosphere here -- but that was not the case for our family and I cannot recommend this school.

We have 4 children in this school. Our school is like a family. I can talk to the teachers about any problem big or small and they have solutions. The size of the school allows each child to be able to participate in larger roles such as playing varsity sports, singing solos in concerts, bigger drama roles. The teachers provide the best education. You don't need AP classes in this school, the student is already in AP level classes.

Our family chose to go to the christian school instead of public for the kids and are very happy with that choice! I love watching how the school is more like a family then anything. Everyone chips in to help each other in times of need and the godly examples that are taught and shown have really change our family for the best. Thank You.

Our family moved to the area a year ago and have been very satisfied with the education our high school son and middle school daughter have received so far. Teachers are wonderful Christian mentors & excellent instructors. Our children have enjoyed participating in the sports, art & music classes offered this year. The kids have made friends easily and have meshed with the school family seamlessly. God has definitely blessed us and this A+++++ School! Find out more at www.wicschools.com!

I love Valley Christian so much! I miss ya'll so much, and I will come visit really soon. Ya'll have taught me so much through the years, and I will never forget your love and leadership. Thank you again for always being a godly example!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
