Many changes have occurred at this school in the past two years, especially in the area of behavior. Students and teachers are working well together and staff is very focused on students. Parent involvement and active learning have really brought more great things to this school.

If you have a special ed student, DO NOT send him or her to this school. He/she will either be told to sit in the back of the class or she will tell the parents to home school them Parental involvement is discouraged You are not allowed to talk to teachers before class and they are out the door at 3:30 sharp. And if you bring up issues to the district administrator, he will likely scream and yell at you over the phone. If you have paperwork that says your child has a disability or special needs, there is a good chance they will lose it.Bullying is a huge problem and school safety is a joke. This is not an exaggeration I can cite an example for each incident And ther is plenty more

I must admit I wasn't very pleased when my daughter attended this school. Her teacher wasn't horriable but far from anything specail. Thank godness she retired this year. She seemed like she just didn't care about the students and never had anything positive to say about the chlderen when it came to their reportcards or worksheets. I'm not exspecting rainbows and sunshine 24/7 all the time but this lady could have stepped away from the gray cloud more often than she did. I will say the ladies in the office were VERY nice and helpful. I didn't like how the school waited last minute to tell you about events that were taking place (normally only a week or 2 before hand) not enough time to really be able to help out if you wanted to. I think the school forgets a lot of parents work and they can't just drop everything at the dime of a hat. I wouldn't say this school is horriable but I've seen better that is for sure. Glad to be out of the school district and the town altogether.
